THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
ODION ELLIS AIDELOJE - Chairman/Chief Adjuster/Consultant
Mr. Odion Ellis Aideloje holds an LL.B and BL. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1993.
He is both a fulfilled legal practitioner and a loss Adjuster. He joined the Insurance industry, where he has been practicing insurance claims adjusting for over twenty-two (22) years. He was a Senior Adjuster with Vera International Loss Adjusters Limited before joining Prime Loss Adjusters Limited as the General Manager/Chief. Operating Officer. He left Prime Loss Adjusters Limited to Maximum Trust Loss Adjusters Limited as Executive Director, Operations where he rose to be Chairman/COO.
In January 2017, he left Maximum Trust Loss Adjusters to Guardianshield Loss Adjusters Ltd where he is presently the Executive Chairman. Odion has attended several courses in insurance, both locally and overseas. He is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association, the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria, Ikeja Golf Club and the Arena 92’ Club.
GODWIN EKI IHANSEKHIEN B. SC, MBA, M.SC, ACIIN, FCIIG. – MD/CE
Ihansekhien is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria, and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, as well as a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration from the National Open University, Nigeria. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Ghana and Nigeria. He started his insurance career with the Phoenix of Nigeria Assurance PLC before joining Equity Indemnity Insurance Company Limited (now Sunu Assurance Plc, Nigeria). With over 30 years of experience, Ihansekhien is a technocrat in the insurance business that cut across Underwriting, Claims Administration, Reinsurance and Risk Management. Before joining Guardianshield, he was the immediate former Head of Technical Sunu Assurances Limited, Ghana, where he coordinated the technical Operations of the company. Ihansekhien has attended a number of trainings, workshops, and seminars both locally and internationally.
AJIBADE J. AWOLEYE – Executive Director Technical
Ajibade obtained both National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in insurance and actuarial sciences from the Polytechnic, Ibadan and the Lagos State Polytechnic respectively. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) and member of Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria (ILAN). He has been practicing as a Loss Adjuster and was, until 2020, a Senior Risk Surveyor with Equity Trust Loss Adjusters Limited. He has over twenty (20) years of outstanding experience on the job.
He has travelled widely and covered many locations within African countries of Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenyan, Uganda, and Mozambique for risk surveys of facilities owned by multinational organizations such OLAM International for insurance placement in the international market.
EMMANUEL O. OPASHI CIIN. –Executive Director, Operations
He is an Associate member of both the chartered insurance institute, London and f chartered insurance institute of Nigeria. He holds PGD (Mgt.) from Sir Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. Worked in NICON Insurance Plc as an Underwriter and Branch Operations (PH, Asaba, Warri and Yaba Branches). In 2001, he joined Linkage Assurance Plc as a Marketer in Warri, Benin and Asaba from 2009, he moved to the Headquarter as Head of claims and later as Team lead, Broken Unit. Having worked for Linkage till 2022 in the same capacity, he retired and joined Guardianshield Loss Adjusters Limited as Executive Director, Operations. Mr. Emmanuel Opashi is happily married with children.
